Boy Scout Merit Badge The following dates are tentative.
Boy Scouts
in the Rochester area have an opportunity to complete the
requirements for an Aviation Merit Badge in May & June, 2009,
at the Greater Rochester International Airport. The classroom
portion will take place 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May
20, at Rochester Airport Terminal. Pizza will be provided
for the scouts. They will learn about airfoils and how they

they affect an aircraft in flight, and describe different
types of engines.
